The Prescott Farmers Market takes place Saturdays from 7:30am to 12:00pm at 900 Iron Springs Road (Dignity Health, YRMC Miller Valley lot at Iron Springs/Miller Valley) from April 5, 2025 through October 25, 2025. This market hosts local farmers, ranchers and food and craft vendors each week. Customers can find fresh specialty produce, meat, eggs, bread, baked goods, delicious ready-to-eat foods and more. As a vital part of the economy, the mission of Prescott Farmers Market is to support and expand local agriculture, cultivate a healthy community and increase access to affordable local food. We accept cash, credit, debit and DOUBLE EBT/SNAP benefits and issue coupons for WIC/CSFP! *Pets/support dogs are not allowed at the market. This event, known as parkrun, takes place every Saturday morning - same time, same place, same 5K distance. Step into The Arboretum at Flagstaff Gardens with Dr. Celia Holm as your bird guide. Don't forget your water, camera, and comfy shoes - the bird walk starts promptly at 7:30 am. Limited to 15 participants.
NACA Health Promotion invites you and your family to join us at some of our favorite Flagstaff hiking trails! The Spring into Summer Hiking Series runs from May until September and takes participants to some of the most scenic and picturesque locations Flagstaff and the surrounding areas have to offer. Hikes are scheduled monthly, on a Saturday, and range from 1.5 to 5 miles in length. These hikes appeal to new and seasoned hikers alike, and feature guest speakers and demonstrations each month
Pre-registration is encouraged, to hold your spot, but you can register the morning of the hike. Everyone is welcome to attend and explore! Drink plenty of water, wear sunblock, sunglasses, and a cap for added shade.

The Verde Valley Farmers’ Market is held on Saturdays from 8 to 11 in downtown Camp Verde. Bird enthusiasts join a naturalist for a guided walk appropriate for beginner and advanced birders. The Audubon Society has designated Red Rock State Park as part of the Lower Oak Creek Important Birding Area (IBA) because of the many species that live or visit here. Please meet up with the leader on the viewing deck above the visitor center. This walk is included with your park entry fee.
Our ongoing mission is to transform the annual remembrance of 9/11 into a worldwide day of unity and doing good, and to encourage millions of people to remember and pay tribute each 9/11 through the spirit of unity and good deeds that help others and rekindle the extraordinary spirit of togetherness and compassion that arose in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 tragedy.

Join us for a morning of fun, learning, and connection at Observatory Mesa! The NAU Center for Service and Volunteerism and AmeriCorps Seniors will host an engaging informational booth, while the City of Flagstaff Open Space Educator leads a guided nature hike through the beautiful mesa trails. The hike will include hands-on activities using binoculars and other nature tools, making the experience both exciting and educational for all ages.We especially welcome community grandparents to bring their grandchildren—and foster grandparents to bring the kids they mentor—for a memorable day of outdoor exploration and quality time together.For more information call: 928-213-2329
