Celebrate the season with science and creativity! In this festive hands-on STEAM Lab, kids will grow their very own sparkling snowflake ornaments while exploring the science of crystal formation. Using simple materials like Borax, water, and pipe cleaners, participants will design a snowflake shape, set up their experiment, and watch as crystals form overnight. Along the way, we 'll uncover the science behind solutions, supersaturation, and states of matter, learning how tiny molecules come together to make crystals, just like real snowflakes in nature. This program is designed for kids in grades 2-5 and encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Plus, everyone will take home a one-of-a-kind snowflake creation!
