We invite you to volunteer at Riordan Mansion State Historic Park!
The duplex-style Riordan Mansion remains one of the finest examples of American Arts and Crafts-style architecture open to the public today. Designed by the architect of the impressive El Tovar Hotelat the Grand Canyon, Charles Whittlesey, the homes were built in 1904 with indoor plumbing, hotand cold running water, central heat, and electric lights, reflecting the most modern technology anddesign of the time.Seen by guided tour only, the interiors of the Riordan family homes look essentially as they did in 1904.The homes showcase original family belongings including fine examples of early Stickley furniture.
Volunteer opportunities available include Front Desk, Interpretive Tours, Grounds and Maintenance services.

Improvised theater! This one-hour show consists of 6 Mainstage castmembers. The audience will experience games, scenes and stories all made up moment to moment - the stakes are high, but the humor is... high-larious. Please don't use that as a barometer.

Bird enthusiasts join a naturalist for a guided walk appropriate for beginner and advanced birders. The Audubon Society has designated Red Rock State Park as part of the Lower Oak Creek Important Birding Area (IBA) because of the many species that live or visit here. Please meet up with the leader on the viewing deck above the visitor center. This walk is included with your park entry fee.
Over the weekend of October 11-12, 2025, the 34th Annual Sedona Arts Festival will showcase a diverse lineup of more than 100 juried artists from across the country. Held on the campus of Sedona Red Rock High School, 995 Upper Red Rock Loop Road in West Sedona, this renowned fine art festival will also feature live music, food trucks, and libations all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Sedona’s red rocks. The festival will run from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Considered Sedona’s oldest and largest premier arts event, the Sedona Arts Festival is proud to present award-winning artists working in a wide array of mediums, including glass, painting, metal, wordworking and more. The festival enjoys a great mix of returning artists, along with new artists that keep the show fresh and interesting each year.
The Sedona Arts Festival rounds out its offerings with a variety of food truck choices along with beer and wine selections provided by DA Ranch Estate Vineyards, an Arizona fan-favorite winery. Gourmet Row features locally produced kitchen, bath and home items available for sale. The Sedona Arts Festival is also proud to include live music throughout the weekend. The lineup will be announced in the fall.
Attendees are sure to enjoy a fabulous fall day in Sedona with amazing art, food, libations and music. Admission to the Sedona Arts Festival is $15, which covers both days of the event; children 12 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult. The Arizona Wine Country Artists Village is excited to present its next art and fine-craft fair, taking place over the weekend of October 10-12, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The fair will showcase the best state and regional artists, fine-crafters and their works. Arizona Wine Country Artists Village will be held at the Old Town Activity Park in the heart of Old Town Cottonwood – just off Main Street at 187 E. Pima Street — within easy walking distance of over a dozen restaurants, 10 wine-tasting rooms, galleries, lodging and more.
This free, family-friendly and pet-friendly event celebrates the local arts community and its connection to the region’s thriving wine culture. Highlights of the upcoming fair will include:-Top Regional Artists – A juried showcase of high-quality, original artwork and fine crafts in a variety of mediums.-Free Scavenger Hunt and Raffle – Participants who complete the scavenger hunt will earn raffle entries for prizes, including a $500 cash grand prize. -Free Kids’ Craft Station – A hands-on art space where children can create their own masterpieces.
