The Prescott Farmers Market takes place Saturdays from 7:30am to 12:00pm at 900 Iron Springs Road (Dignity Health, YRMC Miller Valley lot at Iron Springs/Miller Valley) from April 4 through October 31, 2026. This market hosts local farmers, ranchers and food and craft vendors each week. Customers can find fresh specialty produce, meat, seafood, eggs, bread, baked goods, delicious ready-to-eat foods and more. As a vital part of the economy, the mission of Prescott Farmers Market is to support and expand local agriculture, cultivate a healthy community and increase access to affordable local food. We accept cash, credit, debit and FMNP coupons for WIC/CSFP, and DOUBLE EBT/SNAP benefits! *Pets/support dogs are not allowed at the market. Bird enthusiasts join a naturalist for a guided walk appropriate for beginner and advanced birders. Most year-round birds are found in the riparian area next to Oak Creek or along the field behind the Visitor Center. The Audubon Society has designated Red Rock State Park as part of the Lower Oak Creek Important Birding Area (IBA) because of the many species that live or visit here. Please meet up with the leader on the viewing deck above the visitor center.

Over the weekend of October 10-11, 2026, the 35th Annual Sedona Arts Festival will showcase a diverse lineup of more than 100 juried artists from across the country. Held on the campus of Sedona Red Rock High School, 995 Upper Red Rock Loop Road in West Sedona, this renowned fine art festival will also feature live music, food trucks and more, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Sedona’s red rocks. The festival will run from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Considered Sedona’s oldest and largest premier arts event, the Sedona Arts Festival will be celebrating its 35th birthday with award-winning artists working in a wide array of mediums, including glass, painting, metal, woodworking, photography, ceramics and more. The festival enjoys a great mix of returning artists, along with new artists that keep the show fresh and interesting each year.

The Sedona Arts Festival rounds out its offerings with a variety of food truck choices alongside live music throughout the weekend. The lineup will be announced in the fall. Gourmet Row features locally produced kitchen, bath and home items available for sale.

Sedona’s favorite high-flying tradition is back for another incredible day atop Tabletop Mesa! Join us on Saturday, October 10, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Sedona Airport for Wings & Wheels ‘26, a family-friendly open house packed with powerful engines, live aerial displays, and breathtaking Red Rock views. Get an up-close look at aviation history with static displays featuring everything from vintage airplanes and historic warbirds to cutting-edge aircraft. On the ground, gearheads can marvel at the Sedona Car Club Show, which is spotlighting iconic MOPAR vehicles this year.

Beyond the static displays and high-octane tarmac demonstrations, visitors can take their experience to new heights with once-in-a-lifetime airplane and helicopter rides over Sedona's famous red rocks. The Mesa will also feature interactive displays, family activities, a marketplace filled with local vendors, and a wide variety of delicious food trucks operating all day long.

Parking is entirely free, and gate admission is cheap—visitors are simply asked to bring a non-perishable food item or a $2 donation per person, with 100% of gate proceeds directly benefiting the Sedona Community Food Bank. Flagstaff Creepy Con is a horror, paranormal, and true crime convention happening Saturday, October 10th, 2026 at Little America Hotel in Flagstaff, AZ. We’re expecting 1,000+ attendees throughout the day, featuring vendors, guest speakers, live podcast recordings, and community engagement.

While we embrace all things creepy, the event is also designed to be a family-friendly and welcoming safe space. We’ll have cosplay throughout the event and special trick-or-treating opportunities with vendors for kids in costume, creating a fun and interactive experience for attendees of all ages.

Step back into pioneer life and discover how autumn harvests brought families together to prepare hearty meals from local crops and game.

Learn how pioneers turned their harvest into delicious dishes that sustained them through the colder months. Visitors will explore traditional recipes, watch cooking demonstrations, and have the opportunity to make and take home their own spice mix and recipe card.

Living History Adventure is included with General Admission and Membership.

Spend the weekend surrounded by art, creativity, and the charm of Old Town Cottonwood at the Arizona Wine Country Artists Village, October 9–11 at Old Town Activity Park.

This free, outdoor art and craft fair brings together talented artists and makers from across Arizona and the region, offering a chance to shop original, one-of-a-kind pieces you won’t find in a typical store. Meet the artists behind the work, watch them create, learn about their craft, and find something special to take home.

There’s something for everyone, including a free scavenger hunt and raffle with artist-donated prizes and a $500 cash grand prize, plus a hands-on Children’s Art Activity Tent where kids can get creative and make their own artwork.

See curious Museum specimens and discover why we keep them. Explore our haunted laboratory and learn about insects and minerals that glow in the dark, see coprolites (fossilized poo) from ancient creatures that once roamed the Colorado Plateau, and meet bugs, living and dead! We’ll have touch tables with real animal skulls and fossils, a spooky craft and an owl pellet dissection station.

Costumes welcome! Free with Museum admission. Kids 9 and under free.
