Celebrate International Dark Sky Week with the Flagstaff community and the Flagstaff Dark Skies Coalition. Starting from April 13th going till April 20th with pre-events beginning April 7th. Inviting everyone to connect with the night and it’s inspiration, and enjoy the 25th anniversary of Flagstaff’s designation as the world’s first International Dark Sky City.
Information on locations and times are a bit vague on the website at the moment. Yet, it does seem there is a different location each night.

The NAU Cello Studio is going to Italy! This summer, members of the studio will be attending the InterHarmony International Music Festival in Acqui Terme, Piedmont, Italy! The cello studio is reaching out to their community to help make this once in a lifetime opportunity a reality! Prescott’s Phippen Museum is once again hosting the 10th Arizona Pastel Artists Association National Show. The exhibition and sale runs from February 28 through April 19, 2026. Creativity and unique subject matters spark this showcase of paintings full of rich, saturated colors that only pastels can achieve.
We invite you to the grand opening reception on March 14th from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The reception includes a presentation by artist Karen Budan, a luncheon and an awards ceremony, which are open to the public and free of charge.
Paintings in the exhibition include landscape, still life, abstract and more, including western and local themes. Works from fifteen northern Arizona artists will be on display as well as artists from across the state and nation. Nationally acclaimed and award-winning artist, Karen Budan, served as judge for the juried show. Karen is a contemporary still life artist, whose style ranges from realistic to highly photorealistic. Her paintings capture vivid colors, luminous reflections and extraordinary detail. The Phippen Art Museum is located at 4701 Highway 89 North in Prescott. "Inspire curiosity, problem-solving, and a deeper understanding of STEM fields through fun, accessible, and university-led instruction with the STEM Exploration Series led by Emby-Riddle Aeronautical University professors and students at Prescott Public Library. Youth ages 10-14 can register for individual sessions in this four-part, hands-on learning experience designed for upper-elementary and middle-school students.
Each session focuses on a different STEM discipline, giving participants the opportunity to explore real-word applications through engaging activities and interactive lessons.
Wednesday, April 15 at 4pmS=SCIENCE: Discover the chemistry behind everyday life by exploring how common substances and reactions shape the world around us. Wednesday, May 13 at 4pmT=TECHNOLOGY: Dive into modern technology with an introduction to 3D printing concepts and an exciting exploration of robotics. Wednesday, June 10 at 3pmE=ENGINEERING: Put engineering skills to the test by designing, building, and launching catapults, while using math to calculate and analyze average launch distances. Wednesday, July 15 at 3pmM=MATH: Learn key geometry principles through the art of origami, transforming paper folding into a creative and visual math experience. Join us for a special sensory story hour for all voices in our community! On the third Wednesday evening of each month, enjoy an interactive telling of a story and participate in sensory activities. If you have an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device, please bring it. For families and kids of all abilities. No registration required.This story hour is presented with support from FidgetPockets, with additional funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
Join us for the launch of Arizona’s Right to Dissent campaign! We’ll be screening Just Vision’s film Boycott, which explores how unconstitutional laws have emerged to undermine free speech and suppress dissent.
After the screening, stay for a short discussion on how movements for reproductive rights, immigration justice, gun violence prevention, and climate action can unite with those concerned about the erosion of our constitutional freedoms—laying the foundation for true plurality in a functioning democracy.

Join us in Charly’s at the Weatherford for Wednesday Night Blues! Each week (with occasional exceptions, noted on the website), Dr. Bob Sellani (drums) and Roger Smith (bass) are joined by a rotating roster of local, regional, and national Blues artists, such as Chuck Hall, S.E.
