Find your flow at Family Yoga! Join Miss Tanna for simple, kid-friendly yoga poses and breathing exercises. Bring your own mat, towel, or blanket. Geared for families with children ages 3-9. No fee or registration required. Presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.

Celebrate the grand opening of Baskin-Robbins’ newest shop at 1431 S. Milton Road in Flagstaff on Saturday, Oct. 17.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., guests can enjoy $1.31 ice cream scoops and music, spin the Baskin-Robbins prize wheel and take photos with Baskin-Robbins’ mascot Coney. Franchisee Jing Tu will also celebrate with a $1,000 donation to St. Mary’s Food Bank.

The event is free and open to the public; no tickets are required.

Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting Crystals Connection. Please join us on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 12:00-2:00 pm. Step into the fascinating world of crystals in this fun and interactive program designed for both curious beginners and those looking to deepen their knowledge. Attendees will learn what crystals are, why they are believed to work, and how they are commonly used for intentions such as relaxation, creativity, and grief support. The program will include a helpful handout, a closer look at selected crystals and their meanings, and two hands-on activities where participants can choose a crystal, they feel drawn to and another based on the type of support or intention they would like to explore.
Skye Angelheart is an Advanced Crystal Master and Certified Crystal Practitioner. She has over ten years of experience guiding her clients with a variety of modalities to promote authenticity, self-healing, and wholeness on an emotional, physical, and spiritual level. She graduated from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in 2015, with an Associate in Occupational Studies Degree in Mind-Body Transformational Psychology and a diploma as a Holistic Wellness Practitioner.

Drop-in to the  weekly Casual Chess program, where adult and teen players of all levels are welcome. Whether you're brand new to the game, a casual player, or an advanced competitor, Casual Chess offers a supportive and engaging environment. Come play, learn, and enjoy chess with others in your community. Boards and clocks will be available.  Chess Meetup is held in partnership with Prescott Chess Club. Club membership is not required.  

Looking for an excuse to hang out with cool people and make some art? Look no further! Come, relax, and participate in group sketching prompts. This is NOT an art class, but beginners are more than welcome!
Extra drawing utensils and paper pads will be provided.

Grand Canyon Youth (GCY) is holding its annual fundraiser River Tales: An Evening of Storytelling from 4:30-8pm on Saturday, October 17th, 2026 at Coconino Center for the Arts. Come celebrate with GCY and enjoy live storytelling, dinner, drinks, and an online auction. All proceeds help provide diverse youth access to the rivers and canyons of the Southwest. The Flagstaff Plein Air Festival will take place from October 4–18, 2026, challenging both painters and photographers to capture the beauty of the Northern Arizona region, on location. This multi-day event blends artistic practice with community engagement, environmental awareness, and visual storytelling. At the culmination of the festival, participants will showcase their work in a professionally juried exhibition. The public is welcome to watch the artists at work throughout the week, participate in a variety of workshops and presentations, and purchase completed artwork at the culminating First Glimpse Reception and Sale. What started out as a small production on a dirt lot, has today turned into a thriving local market with food vendors, art, fresh produce, and more! The Flagstaff Community Market is dedicated to providing an outlet for small-scale vendors the opportunity to thrive in our community by giving them a place to sell their local, sustainably grown food as well as other hand-crafted products. This market also promotes education in the community and works to encourage those in rural and urban parts in the city to grow their own food. The Flagstaff Community Market started in 2000 and now has a partner market focused solely on supporting local artisans called the Flagstaff Urban Flea Market. Please come and enjoy each of the markets and discover what Flagstaff locals have in store for you!
