Join us for a special sensory book club for all voices in our community! On the third Wednesday evening of each month, enjoy an interactive telling of a story and participate in sensory activities. If you have an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device, please bring it. For families and kids of all abilities. No registration required. This book club is presented with support from FidgetPockets, with additional funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
Join us in Charly’s at the Weatherford for Wednesday Night Blues! Each week (with occasional exceptions, noted on the website), Dr. Bob Sellani (drums) and Roger Smith (bass) are joined by a rotating roster of local, regional, and national Blues artists, such as Chuck Hall, S.E. Willis, Darryl “Big Daddy D” Porras, and members of the Mother Road Trio. Please check the Weatherford's event calendar for this week's featured performer. $5 cover at the door. At Forest Magic Camp and Forest Fridays campers join a group of young explorers for an introductory wilderness experience that builds comfort and confidence with outdoor, camping, and hiking skills while developing strong, unique, and inclusive friendships.
Campers learn to support each other and share in their challenges and victories as they get their hands dirty learning about Coconino County forests, animals, and geology.
At camp, they get to test their skills with slack lines, hammocks, hiking, and bouldering all while enjoying the fun of place-based outdoor crafts and the company of many caring adult and teen Trail Wizards and trail Wizards in Training dedicated to exploring the magic of the forest!

For grades 6-12, come join this summer camp to explore your creativity through writing and art such as bookmaking, silk screening, and the letter press. Learn to collaborate with others through these projects with a grand display and celebration of each young artists' art. Campers will engage in daily art and writing activities to spark creativity as we get to know one another. No level of art or writing skills are necessary.
Forest Magic Camp gathers campers in Flagstaff aged 7-12 for an introductory experience within the wilderness. Campers build confidence and ease towards outdoor activities such as camping and hiking, while also forming strong and unique friendships.
Get assistance with your genealogy research from a member of the Northern Arizona Genealogy Society. Please come prepared with a specific question or problem and a genealogy mentor will help guide you in your research. This is a virtual session via Zoom, registration is required.
