Fun, funny, and interactive, Magician Matt Lemm will amaze and entertain. For youth of all ages. Summer programs are popular and fill up fast. Seating is on a first-come basis. Matt Lemm is presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
The ‘Tis Art Center & Gallery, in partnership with the Museum of Indigenous People, invites the public to experience “Journeys in Spirit 2026: Traditional and Contemporary Native Art.” This premier annual exhibition, held in Prescott, Arizona, is a free community event showcasing the rich cultural heritage and diverse artistic expressions of Native American artists. Running from May 13 through June 23, 2026, the showcase features a stunning collection of paintings, basketry, jewelry, photography, beadwork, and ceramics.
The exhibition highlights the extraordinary talent of artists with tribal affiliations including Hopi, Cherokee, Diné, Yaqui, Choctaw, Muskogee Creek, Yavapai, and more. Visitors will gain unique insight into the role of art as a vehicle for storytelling and the preservation of sacred traditions. Many participating artists live within their tribal communities, bringing authentic and powerful cultural narratives to this immersive gallery experience.
Event Location and Reception Details The exhibition is hosted at ‘Tis Art Center & Gallery, located at 105 South Cortez Street, Prescott, AZ 86303. A special Artist Reception will take place during Prescott’s 4th Friday Art Walk on May 22 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This reception offers a rare opportunity for guests to engage directly with the creators, learning about their specific techniques and the personal stories behind their work. The Book-a-Librarian service provides a 30 minute session of one-to-one personalized technology assistance with a librarian. Librarians can help with tasks like searching the internet, using basic computer software, starting or using an email account, navigating your smartphone or tablet, and using the library's catalog and online resources. Librarians are not able to type your documents, fix your personal devices besides basic troubleshooting, build websites, answer complex technical questions, or provide tax or legal help. Registration is required. Please come prepared with a single technology question and plan to bring any related devices or account information/passwords as needed.

The duplex-style Riordan Mansion remains one of the finest examples of American Arts and Crafts-style architecture open to the public today. Designed by the architect of the impressive El Tovar Hotelat the Grand Canyon, Charles Whittlesey, the homes were built in 1904 with indoor plumbing, hotand cold running water, central heat, and electric lights, reflecting the most modern technology anddesign of the time.Seen by guided tour only, the interiors of the Riordan family homes look essentially as they did in 1904.The homes showcase original family belongings including fine examples of early Stickley furniture.
Volunteer opportunities available include Front Desk, Interpretive Tours, Grounds and Maintenance services.

“Unidentified” is a Saudi murder mystery from the award-winning director of “Wadjda”.
Sparked by the discovery of the lifeless body of a teenage girl in the desert; When no one claims the body, Noelle Al Saffan — a newly divorced, true crime aficionado who recently lost a child of her own — gets obsessively involved.
Despite a ticking clock that seemingly guarantees the girl’s senseless death will be discarded as a cold case, Noelle is determined to identify the body and uncover the truth. She slowly unravels a mystery entangled within a traditional society in transition, where women are learning to create more space for themselves and to take control of their own destinies.
