Cancer Support Community Arizona, a nonprofit that helps anyone impacted by cancer, will be hosting their annual Paws 4 Hope walk on May 3rd, 2025 at Bushmaster Park in Flagstaff, Arizona. The heartwarming, pet-friendly event will feature a scenic walk, pet-friendly vendors, a photobooth, fun contests, food trucks, a raffle, and more. Science Saturday is an event held on the first Saturday of every month from 9:30am-11:30am. Each month is focused on a different theme and each event offers fun and educational hands-on activities. Artists, scientists, and experts join us on occasion to provide extra special opportunities to learn and explore. There is no need to RSVP and the events are drop-in format.

Our amazing volunteers can assist with repairs on almost anything, including electronics, jewelry, clothing, bicycles, and more, all for free! While appointments are recommended, they are not required.

Every morning, a volunteer naturalist leads a guided nature walk informing visitors about the different life zones of Red Rock State Park. The subjects discussed on this walk may include geology, wildlife, history, archeology, and plant life. The naturalists welcome questions during the walk, enhancing the learning experience.
This hike is included with your park entrance fees but are first-come.
The Arizona Wine Country Artists Village is excited to present its next art and fine-craft fair over the weekend of May 2-4, 2025, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Organized and promoted by Jerome-based artists John and Lauri Maeder (doing business as PBSW Events, LLC) and hosted by the City of Cottonwood, the fair will showcase the best state and regional artists, fine-crafters and their works. Arizona Wine Country Artists Village will be held at the Old Town Activity Park in the heart of Old Town Cottonwood – just off Main Street at 187 E. Pima Street — within easy walking distance of over a dozen restaurants, 10 wine-tasting rooms, galleries, lodging and more. This free, family-friendly, pet-friendly event is a celebration of the local arts community and its connection to the region’s thriving wine culture.

¡Qué Hermoso! showcases a variety of artistic mediums and styles and celebrates cultural identity and traditions by Arizona artists including Tato Caraveo, Emily Costello, Charissa Cota, Zarco Guerrero, Lucinda Hinojos, Annie Lopez and Gretchen Lopez. More than 35 artworks will highlight histories, familism, forgotten stories and rich personal and collective experiences.
