We'll additionally discuss how to invest in yourself and your future as a writer .Publishers Weekly bestselling author Tina Radcliffe is a Romance Writers of America Honor Roll member. She has written 25 novels for Harlequin/HarperCollins, and in addition, Tina has co-written four Hope Street Church mystery novels with New York Times bestselling author Ellery Adams. She also has numerous independent publishing releases and has sold forty-five short stories to Woman's World Magazine. A US Army veteran, a former registered nurse, and a library cataloger, Tina resides in Arizona, where she writes fun, heartwarming fiction. Prescott Writers is hosted by Central Arizona Writers and presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.

Bird enthusiasts join a naturalist for a guided walk appropriate for beginner and advanced birders. Most year-round birds are found in the riparian area next to Oak Creek or along the field behind the Visitor Center. The Audubon Society has designated Red Rock State Park as part of the Lower Oak Creek Important Birding Area (IBA) because of the many species that live or visit here. Please meet up with the leader on the viewing deck above the visitor center.

An eclectic market featuring a mix of vintage, upcycled, artisan, antiques, previously loved treasures! Grab some lunch too! Located on Rte 66 in historic downtown Flagstaff.

Every morning, a volunteer naturalist leads a guided nature walk informing visitors about the different life zones of Red Rock State Park. The subjects discussed on this walk may include geology, wildlife, history, archeology, and plant life. The naturalists welcome questions during the walk, enhancing the learning experience. The program is included with park entrance fees.

Pilgrimage of Light is an exhibition by Texas- based artist and Grand Canyon Artist in Residence Mark Chen.

His photographs unite the cosmos and Earth, aligning starlight with ancient landscapes to reveal the experience through projected celestial images. Performing & Fine Arts (#37) Second Floor, Room 216 Group visits welcome!

This exhibition celebrates drawing as a shared practice rooted in collaboration, and creative exchange. Artists affiliated with the Hozhoni Foundation, a nonprofit serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, worked alongside invited artists to create the drawings presented here, responding to one another’s ideas, marks, and approaches.

Throughout the exhibit, a rotating selection of curated student projects inspired by these works will extend the dialogue through observation, interpretation, and response.

None of us know how long we have to live. However, we have the opportunity every day to make the most of our lives. Participants lead the discussion to reflect on how death and dying affects us all.

Looking for an excuse to hang out with cool people and make some art? Look no further! Come, relax, and participate in group sketching prompts. This is NOT an art class, but beginners are more than welcome!
Extra drawing utensils and paper pads will be provided.
