Step into an autumn afternoon of refinement and Victorian charm at Sharlot Hall Museum’s Premier Victorian Afternoon Tea on October 16, from 2:00–4:30 PM.

Settle in for a curated program featuring engaging presentations on Victorian etiquette and culture, accompanied by an assortment of seasonal finger foods paired with three aromatic teas that capture the essence of fall.

As a highlight of the afternoon, experience an unforgettable Victorian Fashion Show presented by the Sharlot Hall Museum Victorian Society. Be enthralled by authentic styles and patterns from the past.

This signature tea offers a cozy setting for friendly conversation inspired by Victorian tradition. Share the afternoon with a friend or loved one, or use it as an opportunity to meet someone new.

The Prescott Farmers Market takes place Saturdays from 7:30am to 12:00pm at 900 Iron Springs Road (Dignity Health, YRMC Miller Valley lot at Iron Springs/Miller Valley) from April 4 through October 31, 2026. This market hosts local farmers, ranchers and food and craft vendors each week. Customers can find fresh specialty produce, meat, seafood, eggs, bread, baked goods, delicious ready-to-eat foods and more. The Holland Community Center is proud to present the Fifth Annual Desert Foothills Book Festival on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Holland Community Center (34250 N. 60th St., Scottsdale, Ariz.). This free event invites readers of all ages to meet local authors, browse and purchase signed books across every genre, enter exciting raffles and support literacy in Arizona.

This year’s festival will once again include a special giveaway: the first 100 attendees will receive a free book and gift box. These curated boxes offer a unique literary experience by pairing newly released novels with specially selected, book-related gifts.

Attendees can also enjoy excellent local dining options on-site, featuring the Dee-Lites food truck alongside specialty drinks from the Reckon Coffee Company and delicious vegan desserts from Aaron’s Vegan Bakery.

Through live bird demonstrations and an up-close look at some of the world’s most remarkable birds of prey, Michelle will explore the vital role raptors play in healthy ecosystems, the threats they face across the globe, and what humans have learned from thousands of years of falconry’s intimate relationship with these birds.

What started out as a small production on a dirt lot, has today turned into a thriving local market with food vendors, art, fresh produce, and more! The Flagstaff Community Market is dedicated to providing an outlet for small-scale vendors the opportunity to thrive in our community by giving them a place to sell their local, sustainably grown food as well as other hand-crafted products. This market also promotes education in the community and works to encourage those in rural and urban parts in the city to grow their own food. The Flagstaff Community Market started in 2000 and now has a partner market focused solely on supporting local artisans called the Flagstaff Urban Flea Market. Please come and enjoy each of the markets and discover what Flagstaff locals have in store for you!

oin us for the Healthy Kids Running Series – Flagstaff, a fun and inclusive five-week running program for kids ages 2–14! Held at Buffalo Park, each week features age-appropriate races ranging from a 50-yard dash to a 1-mile run, giving kids of all abilities the chance to get moving, build confidence, and experience the excitement of crossing the finish line.

Whether your child is an experienced runner or trying their very first race, everyone is welcome. Come enjoy an active afternoon with the Flagstaff community while encouraging healthy habits, perseverance, and a lifelong love of movement!
