The Prescott Farmers Market takes place Saturdays from 7:30am to 12:00pm at 900 Iron Springs Road (Dignity Health, YRMC Miller Valley lot at Iron Springs/Miller Valley) from April 5, 2025 through October 25, 2025. This market hosts local farmers, ranchers and food and craft vendors each week. Customers can find fresh specialty produce, meat, eggs, bread, baked goods, delicious ready-to-eat foods and more. As a vital part of the economy, the mission of Prescott Farmers Market is to support and expand local agriculture, cultivate a healthy community and increase access to affordable local food. We accept cash, credit, debit and DOUBLE EBT/SNAP benefits and issue coupons for WIC/CSFP! *Pets/support dogs are not allowed at the market. Bird enthusiasts join a naturalist for a guided walk appropriate for beginner and advanced birders. The Audubon Society has designated Red Rock State Park as part of the Lower Oak Creek Important Birding Area (IBA) because of the many species that live or visit here. Please meet up with the leader on the viewing deck above the visitor center. This walk is included with your park entry fee.

21st Annual Sedona Plein Air FestivalOctober 20 – 26, 2025Join us for the 21st Annual Sedona Plein Air Festival, presented by Sedona Arts Center (SAC)—an immersive celebration of art set against the awe-inspiring red rock landscapes of Sedona, Arizona. As one of the oldest continuously running plein air festivals in the western United States, this iconic event brings together master artists from across the country to paint on location and share their talents with the public.
Held during Sedona’s most beautiful season, the festival features a week of outdoor painting, special exhibitions, engaging workshops, and free community events. With 67 years of history, SAC continues to honor its legacy as the heart of Sedona’s creative community and a cornerstone of its identity as an art colony.

United Animal Friends is hosting their annual Hike for Hounds Fall Festival on October 25th at the UAF Rescue Ranch, 2600 Heckethorn Road in Prescott. Hike a portion of the Peavine Trail, then return to the Ranch for a picnic lunch, vendors, exhibitors, and lots of fun activities. Liquid waste such as latex paint, cough syrup, and other chemicals
