What started out as a small production on a dirt lot, has today turned into a thriving local market with food vendors, art, fresh produce, and more! The Flagstaff Community Market is dedicated to providing an outlet for small-scale vendors the opportunity to thrive in our community by giving them a place to sell their local, sustainably grown food as well as other hand-crafted products. This market also promotes education in the community and works to encourage those in rural and urban parts in the city to grow their own food. The Flagstaff Community Market started in 2000 and now has a partner market focused solely on supporting local artisans called the Flagstaff Urban Flea Market. Please come and enjoy each of the markets and discover what Flagstaff locals have in store for you!

Wrapped in Love Diaper Bank is running a donation and children’s book drive September 8 through October 14. They provide diapers, period products, incontinence supplies, and wipes to families across Yavapai County. They’re also collecting children’s books for holiday diaper bundles. And during Diaper Need Awareness Week, September 14–20, they’re teaming up with the Arizona Diaper Bank to raise one million diapers statewide which includes matching funds that double your donation. Over the weekend of October 10-11, 2026, the 35th Annual Sedona Arts Festival will showcase a diverse lineup of more than 100 juried artists from across the country. Held on the campus of Sedona Red Rock High School, 995 Upper Red Rock Loop Road in West Sedona, this renowned fine art festival will also feature live music, food trucks and more, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Sedona’s red rocks. The festival will run from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Considered Sedona’s oldest and largest premier arts event, the Sedona Arts Festival will be celebrating its 35th birthday with award-winning artists working in a wide array of mediums, including glass, painting, metal, woodworking, photography, ceramics and more. The festival enjoys a great mix of returning artists, along with new artists that keep the show fresh and interesting each year.

The Sedona Arts Festival rounds out its offerings with a variety of food truck choices alongside live music throughout the weekend. The lineup will be announced in the fall. Gourmet Row features locally produced kitchen, bath and home items available for sale.

This free, outdoor art and craft fair brings together talented artists and makers from across Arizona and the region, offering a chance to shop original, one-of-a-kind pieces you won’t find in a typical store. Meet the artists behind the work, watch them create, learn about their craft, and find something special to take home.

There’s something for everyone, including a free scavenger hunt and raffle with artist-donated prizes and a $500 cash grand prize, plus a hands-on Children’s Art Activity Tent where kids can get creative and make their own artwork.

And when you’re ready for a break, you’re just steps from everything that makes Old Town Cottonwood a favorite destination. Grab a bite, explore local shops and galleries, or visit one of the area’s nearby wine tasting rooms.

Every morning, a volunteer naturalist leads a guided nature walk informing visitors about the different life zones of Red Rock State Park. The subjects discussed on this walk may include geology, wildlife, history, archeology, and plant life. The naturalists welcome questions during the walk, enhancing the learning experience. The program is included with park entrance fees.

Join our knowledgeable volunteers as they discuss how Sedona transformed into the landscape that we see today. This interpretive experience begins with a theater presentation followed by a short, easy to moderate walk. Please bring water and wear suitable footwear. This program is included with your park entry fee. However, group size is limited and reservations are required. Please call 928-282-6907 to reserve your spot in the program.
